Privacy Policy

Classibus is a fleet management platform. For the personal data described in section 3, the business that operates Classibus is the data controller. You can reach us at [email protected].

This distinction matters more than anything else on this page.

• Data about you, our customer. Collected when you visit the site, book a demo, or sign up. We decide how it is used, and this policy explains that.
• Data inside your workspace. Your vehicles, your trips, your drivers. That data belongs to you. You decide what is collected and why, and we only act on your instructions. Section 8 covers it.

• Account information you give us during sign-up or when contacting us: company name, contact name, email address, phone number, country, industry, and the size of your fleet.
• Payment information needed to bill your subscription. Card details are entered directly with our payment providers and are never seen or stored by us.
• Usage information collected automatically when you visit the website, such as pages viewed and basic device information, used to keep the site working and to improve it.

• To provide and operate the service, and to bill you and send receipts. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To respond to your support and sales enquiries. Basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in answering it.
• To keep the site secure and working, including bot protection and basic analytics. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a service that works.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We keep this deliberately light. The site uses:

• Essential storage to keep you signed in and to remember choices such as language and region. The site does not work without it.
• Privacy-friendly analytics that count page views and measure loading performance in aggregate. They do not build a profile of you and are not used for advertising.
• Security checks on our forms, which keep automated abuse out. They collect no information about you beyond what the check itself needs.

We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the platform, and only so they can provide their service to us. They fall into four categories:

• Payment processing and billing.
• Hosting and infrastructure.
• Email delivery, for verification codes, receipts and support.
• Site analytics and abuse prevention.

A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request, and we will tell customers before we add one that materially changes how data is handled. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

We and our providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed in a country other than your own, including countries whose data-protection law differs from your own. Where the law requires it, transfers are made under an approved transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses, and we contract with our providers to hold them to the same standards we accept ourselves.

A fleet platform handles personal data about people who did not sign up for it themselves: your drivers. Names, assignments, vehicle locations, trips, and driving-behaviour events.

For that data you are the controller and we are your processor. We process it on your documented instructions, to run the service you have asked for, and for no other purpose. We do not use it to build products, to train models, or to sell to anyone.

Because you are the controller, the obligations to those drivers are yours: having a lawful basis for monitoring them, telling them what is collected and why, and meeting whatever your local law requires on workplace monitoring. We will sign a data processing agreement with you on request, and we will help you respond if one of your drivers exercises their rights.

• Enquiries and demo bookings that do not become an account: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Account information: for as long as your account is active.
• Workspace data after you leave: available to export for 30 days after your final paid period ends, then deleted.
• Billing and tax records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, which is longer than the periods above.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent where we relied on it. To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]. We respond within the time limits set by applicable law, and we do not charge for it.

If you are a driver whose data sits in a customer's workspace, please contact your employer first. They control that data. Tell us and we will point you to them and help them answer you.

You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls by role, and separation of each customer's workspace from every other. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Classibus is a business product. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the latest update. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect.
